I can't believe that Holiday Inn would be so petty to lose a long time customer over $235.22. I made a reservation online as I have done many times, and apparently missed the default option selected that is this Book Early & Save - Advance Purchase. I had to cancel the reservation. I made plans to go to wedding in Stockbridge,Ga and stay in Holiday inn. My brother had a strock Wed. before my trip. I called to cancel on that day. Even though my stay was to be on that Sat. and I cancelled 3 days before, I could not get a refund. They gave me a number to call which was the comprate office. I made reservation for dec 31, 2012, i call the motel to cancel my reservation due to my husband being sick. The hotel manager said she could not due to the time, i advised her not to cancel at that time. I recently was planning a trip to Columbus, OH for the first time to visit OSU. On 3/18/13 I booked a room at this hotel for Saturday 3/23/13. On Friday 3/22/13, my plans changed and I was going to be in Detriot instead. I immediately contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation. I reserved a Holiday-inn room in the Grand Canyon's area on 03/13/13 for 1 night on 03/21/13. I used my United frequent miles award and an additional $40.76 to cover what my miles did not. I attempted to block a group of rooms for an upcoming family reunion in July. I spoke with the sales/marketing rep in person at the hotel. I stayed for one day on January 15 at the Holiday Inn in Roswell, Georgia. I contacted the hotel regarding the double charge for the same room. I stayed at this holiday inn for 5 nights during a business trip from January 6th to January11th. First of all the room was only cleaned once during my stay When I got home I discovered why. My very valuble medication was stolen. I even tipped this *** Fukien theft as was leaving. Do not stay at this holiday inn on Manchester Expressway in Columbus Georgia.
