Awful. First a list of what they don't have : hot water, competent staff, modern amenities, decent food, and a clue of how to run a hotel. Now for the long story: We "stayed" here for three hours. Arriving exhausted after a flight to San Juan and a long drive to Ponce we were starving and all wanted showers. We ordered room service, not expecting miracles but maybe a hot decent meal. I booked a room at Holiday Inn on Greenwich Rd in Virgina Beach for July 26-29. We were with a cheerleading group there for National Competition. We arrived at the hotel around 2:00 p.m. only to find out that they cancelled my room and 3 other people out of our groups rooms. I made room reservation on June 20,2013 for June 27,2013 at Holiday Inn at 1944 Cedar Creek Rd. @I-95, Fayetteville, NC. On June 21 I had to cancel because of emergency at home. Signed up for a club vacation at Myrtle Beach. Reservations were wrong, we were in a different room everyday. Called them and they were not accommodating at all. Charged us 75 a night extra after the reservations were already paid for. Representative was rude and offered nothing for their mistake. WARNING! I can't believe that Holiday Inn would be so petty to lose a long time customer over $235.22. I made a reservation online as I have done many times, and apparently missed the default option selected that is this Book Early & Save - Advance Purchase. I had to cancel the reservation. I made plans to go to wedding in Stockbridge,Ga and stay in Holiday inn. My brother had a strock Wed. before my trip. I called to cancel on that day. I recently was planning a trip to Columbus, OH for the first time to visit OSU. On 3/18/13 I booked a room at this hotel for Saturday 3/23/13. On Friday 3/22/13, my plans changed and I was going to be in Detriot instead. I immediately contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation.
