Unable to facilitate a 3rd party booking (I.e. booking.com)
My reservation for a premium king ocean front room was prepaid.
Upon check in I was given a substandard room due to the motels issues. The next day I was transferred to the the high quality room I had purchased.
Then my key didnt work on the second night which resulted in them charging me even more for a room I had already paid for.
I tried to get this sorted out at the front desk, including a significant refund for the first night to no avail.
Their complete inability to work with a 3rd party booking (such as hotels.com) is completely absurd, not to mention maddening.
I will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn again, I should have known better in the first place. Its a dive, always has been, always will be.

Dear Holiday Inn.We had booked the room 1st Aguest, We went for check- in me and my wife.They asked my ID and my wife ID.My ID was in Abu Dhabi so I give my driving licence the didn't accept other hotels they accept and I show my ID and passport picture in my phone then also.My wife ID original we gave but they said we can't allow you.So we told them to cancel the booking and that duty manager from front office he called to someone and he said we already cancel so now u can call agency and tell them to refund back the money.They said we will sent them email also but they never do it and they just lie that they did it. We was waited for 2hours infront of the hotel but they didn't take any action.
Many times we call from the Abu Dhabi and they said they will send mail but still they didnt follow up. This meant they dont care we came from Abu Dhabi to dubai to stay but we never expect they will treat the customer like that.
We really disappointed. Especially F/O MANEGER AND THE STAFFS.

My husband passed and we belonged to priority club. I wanted to change the priority club points put in my name.
Your customer rep said that it could not be done. I would have to open up my own point. I opened up my own IGH but was told that I could not get his points as it had time had passed since he died. This does seem fair.
I didnt even think this would be a problem. Why? Please try to get these points transferred as it would seem like the right thing to do.
I am due to be staying in a Holiday Inn and I will be using four rooms. I would not call me a pissed customer.
I would say just a unhappy customer.
You dont think about points to be transferred on the death of your spouse.

NO HOT WATER

Resolved: Bad customer service
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
Preferred solution: I been at the hotel since April and the guy never respect me and he said today to me he tired see me at the hotel and the room they never cleaned for 3 days and I good guy and I never did anything bad and I good customer with they hotel

You have the satisfaction of showing millions of people the photos published here through many platforms. I don't doubt that the photos are what you claim, but if you didn't this time, always show a recognizable image along with the detail ; stand back and catch the door and a piece of furniture, you get it, something to assist in proving the ick was where you claimed.
